Our faculty of professional artists will help you hone your artistic voice and build a mature body of work. They’ll give you rigorous in-studio training in a wide range of mediums including 2D design, 3D design, observational drawing, colour theory and painting. At the same time, you’ll learn to think globally and develop an entrepreneurial mindset to help you succeed in today’s job market.
Develop advanced skills and knowledge with specialty arts electives
You’ll choose specialty electives to build on your existing toolset, learning advanced techniques, new disciplines and intermediate theory. With a broader base of experience and specialized knowledge, you’ll increase your marketable skills. Electives you can choose from include courses in 2D design and graphic communication, 3D design and fabrication, as well as sculpture, drawing and painting.

Our exclusive third-year Professional Practice course will teach you how to turn your artistic practice into a viable career or start your own business. You’ll learn how to apply for artist residencies, grants, exhibitions, design competitions and more. You’ll also build a portfolio of work and learn how to market yourself, including how to promote your art on social media.
