Overview
This four-year degree program is designed to provide you with specialized knowledge and skills in international business. The degree-level program builds upon the solid foundation of a well-rounded management education, including accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, ethics and strategy. As you move into the intermediate and advanced years, the BMI program emphasizes business and supply chain processes that cross international boundaries and focuses on the complexities of operating in an international environment. Business technology application is integrated throughout the program to introduce students to enterprise resource planning concepts and techniques.
As a graduate of this program, you will also have the required knowledge to pursue several industry designations and are eligible to apply for graduate studies at various institutions in Canada and internationally.
You will gain specialized skills and knowledge from faculty with extensive expertise in international business and from interactions with industry professionals. As a graduate of this program, you will be adaptable and ready to meet the challenges of an evolving global business environment.

Mandatory Degree Co-op
Work experience includes at least one term in a formal work environment. In most cases, the work term(s) is a paid position completed between two academic semesters and requires a minimum of 420 hours. Students must be in good standing and meet all identified requirements before participating in the work experience. The successful completion of the co-op work term(s) is required for graduation.
Eligibility for participation does not guarantee that a work position will be secured. Additional fees are required for those participating in the mandatory co-op stream regardless of success in securing a work position.
