Students with the equivalent of IELTS 6.0 may be invited to join the English Academic Bridging program (EAB). Students accepted to the EAB program will join Mount Allison as full-time students, enrolling in three academic courses while taking two English EAB classes per term. Upon successful completion of the program (duration of one to two academic terms), students may transition to full, unconditional admission at Mount Allison. For more information, visit mta.ca/eab. |

Other requirements | Music admission process: Students applying to the Bachelor of Arts – Music program must submit an application for admission to the University as well as a Music Application Form to the Music Department. Applicants to the Bachelor of Arts – Music program are required to complete a personal interview with the department. All applicants to the Music program must complete an entrance assessment. Overview
The Music program helps you develop into a well-rounded musician with experience in performance, theory, music history, and music education, as well as a sound basis in the liberal arts.
The Music program stresses professional training, with an emphasis on musical performance. There are also courses and ensembles open to students outside the Music department.
At Mount Allison, there are different levels of Music depending on your interests and skills.

Bachelor of Arts
The Bachelor of Arts with a major or minor in Music allows you to balance your musical studies with other subjects and may be suited to you if you are planning a career in music scholarship, librarianship, or other music-related fields, rather than performance.
