Study Finance from an International Perspective
Today’s financial industry requires you to capitalize on opportunities throughout the world. Learn global financial strategies such as how to access cash at affordable rates, assess risk and protect investments from fluctuating currencies. You’ll also prepare for an international and diverse workforce through group work with your classmates.
Develop Relationships with Employers
Start building industry connections before you graduate. Our annual Finance and International Business Networking Event attracts senior employees from across the business world. In addition to giving you a glimpse at corporate life, they’ll also give you honest feedback on everything from your sales pitch to your appearance — even your handshake.
Get Introduced to CFA Curriculum
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designations are internationally recognized, opening the door to endless opportunities. Sheridan’s finance degree courses are built around the core concepts and principles of the CFA program, introducing you to what you’ll need to know before taking your CFA exam.
Enjoy Collaborative and Hands-on Learning
Today’s work world has changed. Top employability skills now include critical thinking, collaboration, leadership, communication and entrepreneurship. Sheridan`s small class sizes and applied learning approach allow you to develop these skills in an interactive environment. You can then refine your new skills through a mandatory internship and optional co-op.
Gain Real-World Work Experience Before Graduation
In the finance program, you’ll have the benefit of completing a mandatory work term as part of your business degree. This provides valuable work experience and allows you to practice and finesse skills and concepts learned in class.
You may also apply to participate in the BBA Co-op program, which allows students to complete three additional work terms to a total of four work terms. Enrolment in the Co-op program is limited through an additional Co-op application process.

Sheridan offers a $2,000 Entrance Scholarship to eligible students who are entering the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree programs.
