Overview
Environmental science is a rapidly evolving field which combines technology with science and engineering. Issues within this field include climate change, air and water pollution, biodiversity loss, and resource depletion along with sustainability, corporate and social responsibility, and the health and well-being of people in the workplace.
Graduates of the one-year Environmental Control Graduate Certificate program will gain knowledge and skills including a significant understanding of environmental science and its intersection with technology,
The program emphasizes problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work independently and in teams. Courses also include communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders. Students will participate in the development and implementation of environmental management plans and other major projects.
