The Bachelor of Risk, Threat, and Crime Analysis (Honours) is a four-year honours co-op degree program for those excited to take on complex challenges in crime and security across a broad range of industries using the most advanced intelligence analysis and investigative techniques. With an integrative focus on investigations that combine intelligence collection, threat analysis, human behaviour, privacy, data governance, and information technology, this program will equip you with the knowledge and skills for exciting careers in the policing, public safety, national defense, or corporate sectors. The dynamic curriculum will keep you engaged through active learning opportunities including case studies, applied research projects, field placement, paid co-op work term, and access to the Risk, Threat, and Crime Analysis (RTCA) Lab.
Potential career paths include: crime analysts, intelligence analysts, insurance investigators, financial/securities investigators, human resource and corporate security practitioners, and risk management professionals. Potential employers include law enforcement agencies, insurance providers, financial institutions, national defense, various levels of government, nongovernmental organizations, and large private sector companies.

The Bachelor of Risk, Threat, and Crime Analysis (Honours) program has been developed in alignment with the Ontario Qualifications Framework, which outlines the expectations and requirements for Honours Bachelor’s degrees. Risk, Threat, and Crime Analysis (Honours) graduates have the same access to master’s programs as university degree graduates.
Once you are a program graduate, you will be well suited to pursue graduate studies programs, including but not limited to programs in intelligence studies, criminology, business, or legal studies.
