Dormitory fee CA$10,000 per year

The above fee is an estimated amount for living expenses during the two academic semesters.

Overview

Biology deals with many different levels of the organization of life: structure, functioning and evolution of organisms, and the interactions of organisms with other organisms and with the environment.

Department of Biology offers instruction by some of the best scientists in Canada and is recognized internationally as a leader in plant and animal science.

As a biology student, you will design experiments and projects, conduct field and laboratory research and learn to think analytically and critically.

Graduate and undergraduate research at the University of Regina are ranked in the top 1 percent of all plant and animal science departments in the world! This program can be completed with a Combined Major in Geology.

CO-OP PROGRAM

Co-operative Education (Co-op) alternates practical, career-related, paid work terms with semesters in class, giving you up to 16 months of supervised work experience by the time you graduate.

If you are interested in becoming a Co-op student, check to see when and what pre-requisites you need to have completed before becoming a part of the program. Make sure that you are qualified prior to submit an application.

Your salary could range from $2200 to $3200 per month, or about $14 to $20 per hour. Some employers may also offer a moving allowance.
