Overview
The Bachelor of Business Administration program is designed to prepare students for effective careers in the management of private and non-profit organizations in Canada and around the world. The curriculum helps students develop the conceptual, human, technical and operational knowledge and skills that are critical for success.
Armed with a thorough knowledge of business principles and practice, graduates have gone on to pursue careers as accountants, financial analysts, policy analysts, corporate executives, civil servants, independent entrepreneurs, marketing managers, human resource managers and much much more.
The BBA program begins with one year of qualifying courses. Students enter through admission in the Excellence Program and become Year One BBA students or complete a qualifying year in the Faculty of Business Administration before being internally transferred into the BBA program.
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) students can choose to major in one of 7 disciplines, including:

Co-op Program
Co-operative Education (Co-op) alternates practical, career-related, paid work terms with semesters in class, giving you up to 16 months of supervised work experience by the time you graduate.

Salaries for Business Administration Co-op students typically range from $1800 per month to $3500 per month. Some employers may also offer a moving allowance.

Entrepreneurship
Prepare business plans and develop an understanding of venture capital and angel investing.

Analyze and interpret financial information to make money-handling decisions. Examine financial concepts, theories and analyses, understand financial markets, identify and analyze risk to implement and manage resource allocation strategies.
Human Resource Management
Learn to design and implement human resource strategies required to attract and retain highly qualified employees. Explore staffing systems, current recruitment trends and challenges, organizational analysis, management of a diverse workforce, and proper application of conflict resolution skills.
International Business
Apply a global perspective to business management and develop an understanding of international trade and the international monetary system. Learn about multinational business operations, economic integration, and international business relations.

Become an expert in business management theory and practice, organizational behaviour, operations management, communications, and overall management decision making. Learn how to develop and implement organizational strategies.
