Overview

The Electronics Engineering Technology (Fast-Track) program will grant qualified students direct admission into the second year (third semester) of this three-year offering and see them receive their advanced diploma in two years (four semesters).

In this college science program, you’ll obtain knowledge of the latest in electronics engineering through a range of practical Electronics Engineering Technology courses. You’ll develop technical expertise in areas such as:

  • wireless communications
  • data communications
  • microcontrollers
  • industrial systems

While gaining a solid foundation in modern electronics, you’ll partake in hands-on applications involving computers, communication transceivers, and electronics testing and measurement equipment to balance theoretical lessons.

The theoretical-practical application split of Electronics Engineering Technology (Fast-Track) will prepare you for various challenging careers.

Co-op Option

The co-op option will allow you to gain hands-on experience while you complete two co-op work terms as an employee in the field. This experience not only allows you to put classroom learning into practice but will also provide valuable contacts for your future career.
