Critical training
This program offers the opportunity to build foundational skills needed in any business administration career and delivers hands-on training in vital HR skills through case studies, guest speakers, simulated negotiation situations and group work. You’ll learn about the latest trends in organizational behaviour, human resources planning and employment law.
Industry connections
Throughout the program, you’ll be encouraged to build your personal network within the HR field by attending various industry networking events. The HRPA local chapters, for instance, have hosted events to support Sheridan students in their professional and academic development.

Sheridan’s HR diploma program also equips you to:

Co-op opportunity
In the three-year Human Resources advanced diploma program, you can add valuable work experience to your resumé through cooperative education. You’ll spend your final two years in the program alternating between school and work, applying what you’re learning in class to the workplace. Co-op is a competitive process, and you’ll need to meet certain criteria in order to qualify to participate.
Students in the Co-op program are eligible to complete two Co-op work terms prior to graduation.
