Experience hands-on training in seven high-demand skilled trades. Learn in state-of-the-art facilities. Pave your way to a career or apprenticeship in one year!
In this program, students develop hands-on skills and gain experience in a variety of construction-related skilled trades. Using project-based learning techniques, students focus on applying the basics of entrepreneurship and sustainability within the construction industry.
Students are introduced to a variety of construction focused courses including:
- carpentry
- cabinetry
- plumbing
- electrical techniques
- small engine mechanics
- drafting
- heating and cooling
In addition, students prepare to make informed decisions related to the next steps in their education and careers.
Career opportunities
Graduates gain a broad range of construction industry skills for general labour as well as entrance into Apprenticeship. Graduates may also elect to continue in a trade-specific techniques post-secondary program.
