The University of Regina is a comprehensive, mid-sized university that traces its roots back to the creation of Regina College in 1911. The College grew in size and significance and became an independent degree-granting university – the University of Regina – in 1974. Home to 10 faculties, 25 academic departments and schools, 18 research centres and institutes, and three federated colleges — Campion College, First Nations University of Canada, and Luther College — the university has established reputations for excellence and innovative programs leading to bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees.

UR INTERNATIONAL’S TOP SCHOLARSHIPS

University of Regina International Entrance Scholarship 

All international students who enter the University of Regina with a GPA of 85% or more receive their choice of either $3,000 in tuition reimbursement or eight months of residence at the university.

UR Circle of Scholars - $20,000 

This scholarship program was created to recognize the best and brightest first-year students from the top 3 regions around the world entering the University of Regina each Fall. The scholarship is paid over 4 years ($5,000 each year) to the student from each region with the highest Admission Average. New students coming directly from high Schools that apply for admission to the Fall semester by July 1st are automatically eligible.

Living on campus makes it easy to make new friends and get involved in both social and educational activities. Our residences are some of the most affordable in Canada, and with more than 16 room styles to choose from, we are certain there is a perfect room to call your home!

The University of Regina is a designated learning institution (DLI#: O19425660270) that offers programs that will make you eligible for a post-graduation work permit.
